Hi I’m Heather!

I’ve been studying the art of being a happy mom and happy self for years!

I’m lost without my girls. I would do anything for them. Even put myself last. And that’s just what I did. I lost all of me. I know there are soooo many moms out there feeling the same. It’s hard to take care of yourself and be the best mom, but it is possible! Mental health and physical health go hand in hand. My blog is all about all of us moms finding our life hacks to do it all and do it all well!

Looking back of the last 6 years, I can see all the signs and times, little by little, that I started overlooking myself. I found comfort in food, TV, a little wine, the girls’ needs. I focused all my attention on the girls and all my me time on the above actions described! I developed post partum depression and anxiety after my youngest (and didn’t even realize it till about 3 years later) and put on a lot of weight. I yo yo’d with diets, diet pills, temporary exercise for years.

When I look back now, I see all the time Iwas missing my own self care and appreciation. Even, blow drying and fixing my hair for the day.

As the years went on and I realized focus on myself was important as an example for my girls as well as myself, I started digging deep to get to the root of my issue, I decided I needed a drastic jump start to really get this new way of life started!

Sometimes you have to make a drastic change for yourself to get results!

I am so excited about this blog and would love to share my tips and advice so you can really live your best life.

My blog is for moms, whether you have had bariatric surgery or not, that are just trying to make it all happen between herself and her family. I’m here to help you achieve the time you didn’t think you had, the body you didn’t realize you deserve, and the mental status of a BOSS!
